We build high-performance product organizations.

We work cross-functionally to build robust and efficient digital products and the business processes that support them.

An app is more than just drawing wireframes and writing code—it is a collaborative exercise in stewardship of relationships, processes, resources, and roadmap.

We are committed to delivering outsized value by combining a people-and-process focused approach with a rigorous engineering methodology.

Values

  • Trust, autonomy, transparency

  • Automation, process, documentation

  • Pragmatic, not dogmatic

The Holy Trilemma: budget, scope, and timeline—in that order

Experience shows us that—

  • budget tends to be the overriding concern,

  • scope tends to change as the project goes on,

  • and the marginal cost of a month's delay in go-to-market tends to be both low and inevitable as requirements evolve during the lifetime of a project.

We don't do the "foot in the door" tactic of an initial Statement of Work that promises the moon, only to be followed up by a succession of change orders to get to some semblance of "done".

We work within your budget to build a right-sized, sustainable product organization and tech platform that you own and operate.

Always be shipping

We apply the kaizen principle of continuous improvement in our approach. Changes are incremental and frequent. To achieve this, we use continuous delivery: the ability of any team member to confidently ship to production at any time.

Continuous delivery enables continuous improvement.

Any platform can be set up with continuous delivery principles, and ensuring it is in place and working is our first in-the-code task before any other development work.
